What Is a Medical Pedicure?
Medical pedicure is the new launch of wound and veins which deals with complete foot care in diseased patients like varicose ulcer, diabetic foot, charcots foot, Madura foot, ingrown toe nail, corn, callus etc.

Diabetic neuropathy
Patients with diabetic neuropathy do not have sensation to heat or cold hence proper foot care is impossible because small injuries to the patient with diabetic neuropathy can lead to major ulcer which may further compromise to lifestyle.
In medical pedicure we take care of these patient by taking proper foot care of the patient that compromises of nail care, crack feet, corn care, callus care etc. medical pedicure helps in curing corn, callus in these patients without surgery also helps in preventing recurrence.
Athelets foot
It is fungal infection of foot that usually begins between the toes. It commonly occurs in people whose feet are very sweaty while confined within tight-fitting shoes.
In medical pedicure our expert medical formulas help in reducing sweat thereby improving foot health and resolving problems like itchy skin, fungal infections etc.
Charcots foot
It is a kind of foot arthritis which leads to weakness of foot bones and joints distorting the foot arches leading to deformed foot.

Foot ulcer and non healing wound
Recurrent dressing for above condition compromises the health of foot. Continuous discharge from the wounds and dressing causes fungal infection of skin and patients are not able to maintain health of their foot due to dressing.
Medical pedicure helps to maintain hygiene of the foot for these patients without hampering their wound healing process.
Ingrown toenail
Ingrown toenail for neuropathic patient is a big challenge as a small injury can lead to amputation in these patient hence one has to be very cautious.

On your first visit to our clinic consultation will be arranged with the podiatrist who will note your complete history along with any past medical or surgical history. Allergies to any drugs will be noted, remember to go give appropriate details.
Once the history is noted detail evaluation of the foot will be done by the podiatrist and appropriate medical formulas will be adviced for the medical pedicure which will help to maintain complete health of the foot.
Medical pedicure consists of two types of pedicure i.e.
- 1. Dry pedicure for wounds & ulcer
- 2. Wet pedicure for corn, callus, dry skin etc
Dry pedicure:
In this our special formulas are used in patient already having foot ulcers to maintain complete foot health.
Wet pedicure:
This is indicated in patients suffering from thick callus, corn, dry skin etc. our special foot care formulas help in recovering from these problems without surgery and takes complete care of foot.

PRP- PLATELET RICH PLASMA

- RECENT FEVER OR ILLNESS

- PLATELET COUNT >105/UL.
WE AT WOUND AND VEIN ARE NOW USING THIS FOR WOUND HEALING IN CHRONIC WOUNDS THEREBY EFFECTIVELY HEALING THE WOUNDS AND REDUCING THE RECOVERY PERIOD.
FOR CHRONIC WOUNDS TO INDUCE HEALING PATIENTS OWN BLOOD IS WITHDRAWN AND IS CENTRIFUGED TO SEPARATE THE PLASMA FROM THE BLOOD. THE PLASMA THUS RECOVERED IS INJECTED DIRECTLY IN TO THE WOUND BASE AND ALONG THE EDGES IN THE WOUND WHICH HELPS IN INITIATING REGENERATION THEREBY REDUCING THE RECOVERY PERIOD.
PLASMA ONCE EXTRACTED SHOULD BE USED WITHIN 24 HOURS.
